Provides an overview of all active and draft transport requests

Open Requests Page

The Open Requests page provides an overview of all active and draft transport requests within the system. It serves as the central dashboard where users can monitor request status, view details, manage bids, and track progress across all logistics activities.

Page Layout and Navigation

At the top of the page, users can toggle between two tabs:

  • Published - Displays all active requests that are visible to carriers for bidding.
  • Drafts - Shows requests that are saved but not yet published or visible to carriers.

A set of filter and sorting options is available below the tabs, allowing users to narrow or organize the list of requests.

Filters include:

  • Detailed filter (icon on the left)
  • Departments
  • Users
  • Reference/Event
  • Budget
  • Tier
  • Sort By (for ordering results)

A search bar is also available to quickly locate a request by keyword, name, or reference.

The Detailed Filters panel allows users to refine the list of displayed requests on the Open Requests page based on specific trip details such as origin, destination, or dates.

Request Cards

Each request is displayed as an individual card containing key summary information. These cards allow users to review requests at a glance without opening each one.

Each card includes:

General Information

  • Request Number and Status - Unique ID (e.g., R-10257) and publication status (e.g., Published).
  • Event name or reference - e.g., Dealer Event #43231
  • Created Date - The date the request was created.
  • User / Department - The person who created the request and their department (e.g., Miranda Johnson – Sales).
  • Budget Information - Shows the Budget Name and Budget Reference used for funding.
  • Carrier Tier - Indicates the preferred carrier tier for bidding. (e.g., Tier 3 means only carriers in Tier 3 or higher can bid)
  • Equipment Type - Specifies the transport type (e.g., Open, Enclosed, Hard Side…).

Trip Details

Below the general information, each card shows:

  • Pickup and Drop-off Locations with city and state.
  • Pickup and Drop-off Dates/Times for scheduling reference.

Pickup and Drop-off Dates/Times show the first available time. If you requests a specific time, it will be marked in red:

  • Bid Summary – Displays the number of bids submitted by carriers (e.g., 1 bid, 2 bids, or No bids).
  • View All Bids – Opens the bid review window for that specific request.

Vehicle List

Each card includes a list of vehicles assigned to the request, showing:

  • Vehicle year, make, model, VIN and color
  • Optional indicators such as:
 

INOP (inoperable vehicle)

You can click on the Request Number at the top or the View request button at the bottom - both open the same Request Details window.
